To visit Goa for the 3rd Asia Cup, all participants need to apply under the Conference Visa status. Visitors from most countries can enter Goa with visa for periods of 15 to 180 days, depending on nationality. However, Ministry’s approval would be required for all conference visas to foreigners participating in conferences/ seminars/ workshops etc. in the following cases:-

Participants of conferences/seminars/workshops who are required to visit ‘Restricted’ or ‘Protected’ areas in India,
areas affected by terrorism, militancy and extremism etc. viz. Jammu & Kashmir and the North Eastern

Very Good. The local transportation is a mix Private and Public enterprise. The public enterprise is called the KTC or the Kadamba Transport Corporation. The private buses all have names and locals usually refer to them as such. Most local cities and towns have a designated Bus stand from where most services arrive and depart.

Generally speaking, the temperatures vary from 26 C to 35 C during June-July with probability of moderate to heavy rainfall. As a result climate is humid and breezy due to the coastal area.
Most shops in Goa accepts major credit cards; however, at open-air markets, most vendors will only take cash. As these can offer attractive bargains and are found all over Goa , it’s best to bring both cash in Indian Rupees (note denominations available of 2000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 20, 10, 5 and coins of 10, 5, 2,1) and credit cards when shopping.

Most offices will open from 9am to 6pm or longer from Monday to Friday, depending on the type of business. Many will also open from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.
Major Banks open from 9am to 4:30 pm on weekdays and 9am to 3:30 pm on First and ThirdSaturdays.
Retail shops generally open from 10am to 7pm daily, although those in popular shopping areas such as Mount Road, T Nagar will stay open until 9:30pm or even later, especially on weekends. You can buy a Prepaid Calling Card or Mobile Data Prepaid SIM Card from major mobile service stores like Vodafone, Airtel, and Reliance Jio as well their franchises located nearby at the airport or in town. It is worthwhile to get vaccinations and immunizations against the following prior to travel to India. Tetanus and Diphtheria, Polio, Typhoid, Hepatitis A and B, Meningococcal meningitis, TB, Rabies and Japanese B encephalitis. Record all vaccinations in the International Health Certificate available at your local Physician or Health department.
International tourists should carry their Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate conforming to International Health Regulations, if they originate or are transiting through countries where Yellow Fever is endemic. International travelers / tourists originating from the USA, UK and Canada do not require any mandatory vaccinations.
The International Health Certificate is not normally asked for by immigration officials, however it is better to carry one. It may be of immense help in case of a medical emergency.
